Mission
The Broadlawns Medical Center Foundation unites generosity and purpose to create a healthier community where every neighbor — especially the most vulnerable — is met with dignity, compassion and opportunity.
Key Programs Funded
The Foundation turns donor support into direct help for Broadlawns patients and families. Current investments include Iowa’s first Mobile Memory and Wellness Clinic for people living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, and their caregivers; accessible equipment for dental patients; and everyday essentials, such as warm clothing and nourishing food, for patients who need them.

What are the Most Immediate Needs to Support Your Organization?
Our most immediate needs center on access, dignity, and compassion. Support helps patients with critical needs like transportation, clothing, toiletries, and meals. It ensures newborns have a safe start to life by providing families with car seats, pack-and-plays, and other necessities.
Investments in TEACH and TECH Apprenticeships create pathways to healthcare careers for people seeking greater opportunity and strengthen Polk County’s workforce.
