We partner with families to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life.
Key Services Provided
Autism and behavioral health: ABA, autism day program, mental health therapy, psychiatry, psychology
Complex medical: Complex medical, homecare, medical childcare, medical group home
Community services: Case management, childcare, day habilitation, homes, respite, supported community living
Pediatric rehabilitation: Durable medical equipment, inpatient rehabilitation, orthotics, outpatient therapy, prosthetics, physical medicine and rehabilitation
Key Audiences Served
As a leading pediatric healthcare provider, with Iowa’s only children’s specialty hospital, we serve children with developmental delays, disabilities, injuries and other special healthcare needs. Last fiscal year, we served nearly 6,000 children and young adults from 83 of Iowa’s 99 counties.

What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
ChildServe’s mission is supported by generous donors who contribute to our capital needs, program startups and enhancements, and specialized equipment needs. As we look to serve more children and families across the state by growing our autism program, we need funding support for additional space, renovations, equipment, and furniture to bring this vision to life. Clinical equipment to enhance our outpatient therapy services is another great area of opportunity. In addition, we are always in search of talented team members to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life.
