Mission
To rescue those who are homeless, hungry, abused or addicted, providing opportunities for hope, recovery and restoration through the love of Jesus Christ.
Key Services Provided
Hope Ministries provides free warm meals, safe shelter and Christ-centered life recovery programs. Through job readiness training, help for substance abuse and mental health struggles, life skills classes and more, we are lifting our hurting neighbors out of homelessness and empowering them for life transformation.
Key Audiences Served
We serve men, women and moms with kids in Central Iowa facing homelessness and other complex struggles, including addiction, abuse, mental health struggles, relational poverty and other traumatic life challenges. We serve 650-plus free meals every day and shelter about 275 people every night.

Every night, unsheltered Central Iowans are trying to survive on the streets. They’re hurting and in crisis. They need a safe landing place where they can rest and breathe easier as they take their next steps toward stability. Hope Ministries has been that safe landing place since 1915!
