Key Audiences Served
Individuals 16 and older who desire to make a difference in their communities with a volunteer gift of a lifesaving blood donation. Our primary service area is Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Illinois.

What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
In the United States, more than 60% of adults are eligible to donate blood, but only 3% do each year. In order to continue to provide a safe, consistent supply of lifesaving blood to local community hospitals, we need to raise that number. We actively recruit all ages of people to donate blood but are really looking to our high school, college-aged, and young adults in the community to step up and fill in the gap as our older generations of dedicated donors start to become less able to give the gift of life.
