OUR MISSION
Our mission: repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives. Our vision: safe homes and communities for everyone.
Key Services Provided
Rebuilding Together brings community volunteers together to complete home repair services for low-income families. Services range from installing grab bars, flooring and painting to building wheelchair ramps and replacing roofs and windows. Since starting in 1995, we have helped over 4,500 families.
Key Audiences Served
Each year, volunteers help deliver our services. Rebuilding Together serves families, individuals, veterans and people with disabilities. Client referrals come to us from health and human service agencies serving low-income clients, neighbors and co-workers.
Ways to Give
Your time and talent. Our organization uses both skilled and general volunteers year-round.
Give funds. Every dollar makes a difference: $150 buys a low-flow toilet, $250 buys a kitchen sink, $500 buys a front door, $1,000 buys siding repair and $2,000 buys flooring repair.
Donate building materials.
Provide food for volunteer teams.
Organize your own team of volunteers.
What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
Our families’ ability to meet their basic needs — such as groceries, prescriptions, car repairs and critical home repairs — has suffered due to record-breaking inflation, which has hit low-income families the hardest. The families we assist have low cash buffers and have suffered the economic impacts. Our organization has experienced increased costs for materials for each repair we complete. With local financial support, we can continue meeting this critical need at no cost to those we serve.
