Mission
We provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
Key Services Provided
We offer a place to call home at little to no cost, so that families can stay together. At our two House locations, one inside MercyOne Children’s Hospital and one near Blank Children’s Hospital, families are only steps away from their child’s medical journey.
Key Audiences Served
We serve families who have children aged 21 years or younger using a medical facility in the Des Moines area. Not only do we serve families from Iowa, but we also provide a home away from home for families from all over the United States and around the world.

What are the most immediate needs to support your organization?
Businesses and individuals can help Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa (RMHCCI) in so many ways. RMHCCI is always looking for volunteers for the Houses and fundraising events that are hosted each year. Volunteering in the kitchens to provide meals, snacks, or sweet treats goes a long way.
